Southampton Archery Club was formed in 2002 to promote the sport of Target Archery in the Southampton and Eastleigh areas.
The club has grown over the last few years and now has in excess of 100 senior and junior members; the club works on many levels of ability and places a friendly club spirit high on its list of priorities.
The club shooting range is within the Southampton Solent University's Hardmoor sports ground and is well suited to outdoor archery.
The Hardmoor sports ground boasts a pavilion with bar facilities, a kitchen area and full welfare amenities, there is also ample car parking.
Club members meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings from 09.45, club target days and competitions are normally held on Sundays, experienced archers will be most welcome as new members.
New-comers to Archery will have to complete a beginner's course before they can be accepted as full members, these courses are run regularly every Saturday morning, interested parties are invited to click on the adjacent link to find out more about Beginner's Courses.
Although a young club we feel we are able to offer excellent facilities to our members and would be very pleased to welcome visitors to our normal club sessions.
